THRIVING IN THE EYE OF THE HURRICANE

thriving in the eye of the hurricane

My mind is like a hurricane
I’m feeling out of control
My thoughts are overwhelming me
And I don’t know where to go

I’m living life in the fast lane
It’s driving me insane,
Can’t stop my thoughts from spinning
I’m lost inside my brain

My mind is like a hurricane
Spinning outa control,
I need to slow it down
But I don’t know where to go

I’ll find the eye of the hurricane
I know there’s peace inside,
I’ll rest my mind in the calm
And jump off this crazy ride.

The eye of the hurricane is
Peace within my soul,
It’s mine to have and rest in,
The calm that makes me whole

If my mind’s like a hurricane
I can ride and tame it’s force,
Rest inside it’s eye
And stay within my Source

When my thoughts start to whirl
Again and again,
I now know how to stop them,
I know to go within

My mind was like a hurricane
It was driving me insane
And now I see the “I” inside me,
Where I shall remain.
