Once the darkened blanket
has snuffed out the blue skies
and the moon reveals herself
to her fellow stars
there are some nights
you can feel her different moods.
Her varying phases and ocean tides
are evident of this.
When we see her,
She has just kissed her love goodbye.
They only get to have seconds together
and then they part
never to share the same sky.
