pterodactyl soars
brontosaurus plods below
yabba dabba doo

if earth is not old
were dinosaurs on the ark?
keeps me up at night

dinosaurs once ruled
an extinction incident
will mankind dodge that?

when I was little
wished I was a dinosaur
now I’ve become one

ferocious and feared
the tyrannosaurus rex
now just fossil fuel

no more dinosaurs
done enough haiku on them
but they’re just so cute
