I began blogging after the birth of my second child. As a mother caring for a 2.5 year old, and a new born, I began drowning in the emotional ride of motherhood. I felt smothered, both by the joys and the heartaches of parenting. It was the first time I really realized I had compromised my identity, my sense of self, to be a mother—and I knew that to be the best mom I could be, I had to fix that.

So I tapped into my creative energy, the energy that had once been the definition of who I was. I started writing, then blogging, then I picked up a camera and started taking pictures at every chance I got. I started calling myself a photographer. Soon—I felt free, I felt slower, I felt like I was truly enjoying being a mother appreciating every moment, big or small. My creative energy kept pushing and growing, and all my of passion and love swirling together became this: Little Victories with Bub and Teebs.

My blog is about celebration. It is about seizing each day, each moment, and appreciating it for what it is. It is about recognizing that little successes, little victories, are everywhere—and that they matter. I like to pair stunning photos with poignant writing, I want each post to emotionally envelope every reader and give them just one, small moment of reflection in their day. Writing Little Victories has been therapeutic and inspiring for me and I’m excited to share it with others and see it grow. Take a moment to read and reflect, I love followers and I love feedback.
