Spin Your Story : Digital Breakthrough

Spin Your Story guest post by Brandy Walker.

Shalom!

First of all, I’d like to give Amanda a huge dollop of gratitude for letting me share! She is such an inspiration and I’m over the moon that I get to Spin My Story on Kind Over Matter. Picture pregnant lady happy dancing all around the house!

And thank you for tuning in, too! This is the story of my evolution as a digital pastor. You may be wondering what exactly that means. Somebody asked me if it was anything like mail-order pastor ads that used to pop up in the back of Rolling Stone magazines.

Heh, no. Not exactly.

Basically, I don’t have a congregation. I want to use my blog to love people: listening to their passions and concerns, praying for them, and exploring ways to build a community of subversive Shalomy co-connivers. I’m interested in partnering with people to work toward restoring Shalom in the world and within themselves. Together, we can think deeply about the problems of the world; love wildly, using love as a catalyst for change; and create beauty using the unique gifts we’ve all been given.

I hope you’re as excited as I am to journey toward peace and wholeness. If you’d like to learn more, you’re welcome to stop by my blog and pick up my Think Love Create Manifesto. It’s free when you subscribe to my newsletter.

Thank you, dear friend. May you begin to fathom how much you are loved.
