Self love starter kit

If you’ve been hanging around here for any length of time, you’ve probably learned that you deserve your own love. You deserve your own kindness.  You deserve your own respect.

Roger. Got it. Comprendo. Capisce. Message received.

But maybe you’re not sure where to start. Maybe you’re on the self love train, but you haven’t found a seat.

Good thing you’re still here, because I’m going to get you seated and moving forward, in 5 steps!

Step 1: Acknowledge that you deserve your love. Check! Rock on for getting here.

Step 2: Start paying attention to yourself. Learn what things make you happy and do more of those. Learn what things you’re not really all that into, and do less of those.

Step 3: Listen to how you speak to yourself. When you make a mistake, instead of berating yourself, simply offer yourself forgiveness and let go. When you do something awesome, congratulate yourself! Take a break and celebrate you.

Step 4: Listen to how others speak to you. When it’s unkind, tell them. When it’s kind, thank them. Spend more time with the ones who speak kindly to you.

Step 5: Connect. You know those folks that speak kindly to you? Yeah. Reach out to them. Let them in. Let them really get to know you, and make an effort to really get to know them.

Use these 5 steps regularly, and I promise you’ll finally be able to feel all that self love you know you deserve!
