Sacred Economics
by Charles Eisenstein
In keeping with one of the main themes of the book, gift economics, Charles has made the full text of the book available online as a gift. If you feel moved to send Charles a return gift, you may do so on a “pay what you want” basis or by purchasing a hard copy.
I came across this gift this morning when Christa Gallopoulos shared the video below on her Facebook page, which I adored. Further clicking lead me to the video above.
I feel that this speaks to the heart of our creative community, a few people in our community are already doing-work-around this topic in some form or another. I’m eager to read what Charles has to bring to the table as it is prevalent topic in our community.
I wanted to share it in case you wanted to explore it as well.
A question that he tackles in the book : How can I share my gifts in today’s money economy and still make a living? Some people who ask this question are artists, healers, or activists who despair of finding a way to “get paid for” what they do…
There is definitely a shift happening around money right now in our culture & I am blessed to be connected to a few of the people that are making it their life’s work to make that happen. I’m also staying open to whatever I come into contact with that will open & spread this topic further because it’s good-good stuff.
Enjoy!
Love,
