Life, On Purpose

You may, in your beautiful life, hear the whispers. Hear the nudges. The persistent ache that is the urging of the soul. The soul that is both the essence of you and the divine tether to all that is. And you may feel, in this life, the desire to live in accordance with your soul. To live on purpose. Perhaps that translates into a graceful and ease filled experience where every move you make is in alignment with the absolute truth of who you. Perhaps that leads to pain and confusion…fear of being off task and not doing it right. Perhaps it’s somewhere in the middle where you know that there is a true opportunity to be, in the most magnificent way possible, and you just want to get there.

In the course of our lives, we see glimpses of what is possible. The loneliness, the doubt, the fear of the unknown washes away. We are left with enthusiasm…the experience of being filled with spirit. Of being filled with our Self. Every time we feel this truth, we want it more and more. We push. Struggle. Brace from the usual ebb and flow in hopes that our efforts will magically bring us back to the place of deep and true connection. We may cry in confusion, begging for the road map to just show up and point the way. For all the struggles, exertion of effort, the soul is gentle. Using every moment as an opportunity.

The purpose of our soul is to experience itself… as itself. It will use and utilize every human experience for that purpose. It doesn’t care what we do… as it has no other agenda. Its language is joy. Pleasure. That is how it communicates that we are in deep connection with it. That we are truly in recognition of our divinity. How we bring about joy and pleasure is up to us, as the actions that light us up as humans, light the soul up as well. The deep experience of contentment and enjoyment, that glow, radiates to the hearts of others… assisting them in the process of their purpose. The purpose is the divine and human selves becoming one… getting to rock this human experience knowing the truth, appreciating the illusion and honoring the mystery.

To live on purpose, do what you enjoy. Do what feels good. Great. Amazing. Truly. Not what you think feels good. But what truly lights you up. Follow the path that your pleasure lays down for you. The greater the commitment to what feels so absolutely incredible, the greater the experience of your living on purpose.
