Letter to My Child in the Anorexia Hospital

This is an anti-poem in the spirit of another one I’ve published at KOM, Homage to Storni. Some readers may think it isn’t poetic at all; but others may note it shares poetry’s typical concision of language and a poignancy of emotion (perhaps one that emerges gradually, as the reader reflects). “What is a poem, anyway?” Is what it makes me wonder? Is this rather a flash fiction, instead, and do those categories even matter?
