Seriously missing the idea of him walking these streets,
and I know I sound silly, it’s not as though we got to meet.
Your legacy and smiling face
always hold up with grace.
Thinking we’ll be able see you again
brings me a hope of not questioning when.
You, your soul, your essence, your star shines on,
there’s so much love for you now that you’re gone.
So, on the nights when the moon has a certain glow,
family will persevere and I’ll smile, because … you know.
