I am from the land of whispers
and ancestors’ stories,
forces held in no-word space
with dream-fire
and blessed memory.
I am of childhood’s fantasy,
a land of unicorns
and daring deeds,
maverick mavens of the flying horse,
riding on ivory steeds,
where ocean water meets sandy dunes
and we are nature’s wild abandon.
I am from my own mind’s eye
and of the infinite cosmos,
both reluctant traveler
and inward wayfarer,
awash in time’s vast ocean.
I am from seekers
and speakers
whose voices birthed new journey-makers
and wisdom-keepers.
I am from a wild land,
where I dance with the wind
and worry the rain.
I am from all that ever was
and from nothing that may be.
I am.
