:: Dirty Footprints Studio’s Connie Hozvicka had a huge wonderful announcement this week & we wanted to share it with you! She’s doing her first ever online workshop!!! How fun is this going to be? The answer: LOTS!! The workshop consists of 20 LOVE Letters written as daily blog posts that contain Art Journaling prompts, ideas, techniques and lovestruck musings on both art journaling and living a Creative Juicy Life, and four Art Journal LOVE videos that you have come to admire and expect from Dirty Footprints Studio. Who is this workshop for? Everyone, from art journal virgin to vixen, it’s open to all creative souls of every skill level, ability and background. It starts on Valentine’s Day, appropriately enough, & it costs $25 BUT if you sign up before Feb. 14, the price jumps down to $20!!! So affordable, so lovely! It’s going to be an AMAZING time, I’m so excited for Connie!! Check out this website to get EVEN MORE info about the workshop — lots of FAQs, details, all that Creative Juicy good stuff! ::

:: I just love going to Color Me Katie to see what Katie is up to, she is so darn cute & inspiring! Some of her recent posts include How to Make a Kiss Flip Book – super cute Valentine’s Idea! The Chalk Walk, where she traced her footsteps with chalk down her sidewalk & then took photos from above as people walked by. Katie prefers working with strangers hoping to promote human interaction through her work & capture the results of humans in their natural habitat when mixed with fantasy or fun.

You can also connect with Katie on Flickr & Twitter.

:: Even though I’m almost 30, I still find Best Friends Necklaces to be quite endearing. The inspiration behind this Lovely came from Rikkianne at Chakra Pennywhistle – check out her pretty & grownup version of the Best Friend Necklace through her DIY Tutorial on Poppytalk – she used doilies, I just love them! Her tutorial led me on a search for unique Best Friend’s Necklaces. Here is a DIY using puzzle pieces. I found two tutorials that could easily be modified by cutting the heart in half, fabric heart necklaces on red bird crafts & recycled sweater pendants on Craft. If you aren’t all that crafty & would rather buy a beautiful Best Friend necklace, here are a few I found: Split Heart Brass Best Friend Necklace & Star Best Friend Necklaces by DragonFlyTears. Two Golden Oak Wood Wooden Tree Branch Pendants by TheHickoryTree. If you’re into cute & a tad kitschy check out these Milk & Cookies Necklaces, Peanut Butter & Jelly Necklaces & I Heart Brains Necklaces! Get Creative & make your own even, what a great surprise for a friend! ::

:: Vanessa at Chicken Soup for the Dorky Soul is doing the coolest thing — she’s letting us all share in a love fest with 365 days of love letters! Each week she puts up a bunch of love letters that people have submitted, all of them about what each person loves about him or herself. I love how positive it is over there, such an outpouring of affirming energy! You can e-mail your love letters to & she might choose to run them! You can also find Vanessa on Twitter & Facebook. ::

Have a courageous & soul-nurturing weekend!!
See you Monday!
