End of Life Haiku

time comes to its end
family celebrates your life
go now with the wind

the sound of silence
a place for eternity
your sun will still shine

time moves and stands still
the cusp of a new season
will I be reborn?

night comes like a shroud
I stare into the mirror
death has second thoughts
