Last year I shared my translation of a poem by the famous German poet Rainer Maria Rilke.
His style was in my mind as I wrote this original piece.

 

Thoughts clothe themselves in words
So that my spirit can touch yours

The page or screen’s a membrane
Mind-molecules slip through

And I wonder if your heart-waves
Send a message in reply

Does some unseen thread
Lead back to me from you?
