Being Kindness

Today, I invite you to know your kindness as more than just something you do. To realize it as something happening deep inside you, even now. An expression of Being.

The morning sun, shining through the leaves of trees. That feeling of gentleness and warmth, and its radiating sense of joyful completeness. Let this be your kindness.

Go slowly with it. Kindness is not a rushing stream. Feel the morning sun, deep inside your belly, expanding slowly outward. Feel its soft golden light, resting upon the sacredness of You. Filtering through the holiness of You.

Allow it to go out in all directions, resting upon all it touches, illuminating everything. Know the fullness of it.

Let your kindness be a sacred mirror, showing others their magnificence and their potential. See more than just the person. See a phenomenon, a masterpiece of Being, happening right in front of you. Reflect back to them the invisible miracles that they’ve forgotten how to see in themselves.

This is being kindness. The embodiment of unconditional love.

Just as the morning sun greets you without expectation or demand, let your kindness greet others. Allow it to bring them into a place of openness within you. A place of refuge and rest.

That open space doesn’t have to be polished and neat. Perhaps it is raw, shaky and unfinished. Perhaps it is tender and vulnerable. This kind of openness is a continuous act of courage and bravery. As you allow those raw, vulnerable places in you to be harbors of safety and healing for others, you will realize that which is perfect and indestructible within you. You are becoming a warrior of kindness.

So let your kindness be more than just something you do. Allow it to come forth from a place of stillness and vast openness within you, a place of uncommon bravery, radiating outward with gentleness and warm acceptance.

Let it be a journey that brings you closer to who you really are.
