Traveling down the many paths

of life and the choices you make,

something I have learned in all

finding the bright spots makes

such a difference but, also,

ensure that you find

those darker trails as well.

While the clear paths bring you light,

the darker routes offer something, too –

they show you that you are

a light in the dark
