A Chorus of Spring Haiku

first few days of spring
the sun and sky sing solos
while clouds harmonize

unexpected cold
spring can’t quite shake off winter
birds shiver and sing

the drip drip drip drip
from the rain storm’s aftermath
nature’s metronome

birds and bees appear
buzzing and chirping and song
the full spring chorus
