A word that used to bring up all sorts of fear due to having to hold on for dear life because I was scared.

Scared of losing someone,
something, some place,

But I’ve come to the realization that the release is needed if you’re wanting to advance to the next level.

You wouldn’t be able to catch a ball
if your hands were full
without dropping them, right?

And sometimes, just sometimes,
you realize this new catch is
worth the letting go of the excess.

I’ve let go,
I am letting go,
and I will continue to let go,
releasing when I’m ready.

So, Life … bring. It. On.
