This Small Life

One tiny flicker in the vastness of the universe.
One gentle breath among the winds of change.
One soft whisper above the din of millions of voices.
One simple note struck in the symphony of life.
Will anyone see?
Will anyone feel?
Will anyone hear something so small and quiet?

If you throw the tiniest grain of sand into a pond, still it makes ripples.

My tiny flicker can be seen throughout the universe by every eye.
My gentle breath helps create the winds of change.
My soft whisper is heard the world over.
My simple note can change the course of the symphony.

I will shine brightly with love.
I will breathe deeply of life.
I will whisper endlessly of peace.
I will play on in harmony.
This small life mine to create love.
This small life mine to bring peace.
This small life my gift to receive and to give.
This small life can light the way.

This small life mine to create ripples.
I throw myself into the pond.

Lynda Allen sees herself as a life in progress. Her personal mission is to be the purest expression of love that she can be. How that expresses is ever evolving and deepening. One of the profound ways that love moves through Lynda is in the form of words. She helps hearts to shift through sharing those writings and words. She is the author of three collections of poetry, Rest in the Knowing, Illumine and Wild Divinity, a novel, Sight to See, and a nonfiction book, The Rules of Creation. Another way that love expresses through Lynda is in the form of images. She has recently opened a shop called Wyth a WhY? through Café Press to share some of those images. It is a work in progress! Through all of her creations, Lynda strives to inspire others to open their hearts and embrace their journey, both the dark and the light, with joy. You can follow Lynda on her blog.
