Reflections of a Shaman Rising

I stand on the precipice
again.

I fear the height. (I have known death this way.)

The flesh is not weak, but the body
does fade.

Watch me.

I shiver in the cold wind. (Exposed.)

You see the cliff and think me afraid of falling;

But I see you and know your fear of the sun.
